Key dates

  • For GMsWednesday, September 27 – team awards to Chris 
  • For award committee (as selected by Chris):
    • Friday, September 29 – finalize league awards and All-Star pool
    • Friday, September 29 – All-Star pool contacted for attendance, if drafted
  • For All-Star poolSunday, October 1 – deadline for All-Stars to confirm attendance
  • For All-Star ManagersMonday, October 2 – draft from eligible All-Stars; drafted All-Stars notified; HR Derby participants notified 

Team awards 

  • For each team, please select one player: 
  • Pitcher of the Year (min. 26 IP) 
  • Reliever of the Year (min. 7 GP, max 25.2 IP) 
  • Most Valuable Player 
  • Gold Glove 
  • Rookie of the Year 

League awards 

The Commissioner will meet with a representative mix of members to determine league awards based on regular season performance: 

  • Pitcher of the Year (min. 26 IP) 
  • Reliever of the Year (min. 7 GP, max 25.2 IP) 
  • Most Valuable Player 
  • Gold Glove 
  • Rookie of the Year 
  • Most Improved Player 
  • All-Star Pool (min. 26 players; pool of 40 recommended) 

Stat-based awards will be announced separately: 

  • Golden Bat 
  • Batting average 
  • Triple Crown 

All-Star Game 

The manager of the regular season champions (first manager) will draft a team of all-stars against manager of the playoff champions (second manager): 

  • Both managers may play in the game 
  • The first manager can choose either home field advantage or to draft first 
  • The draft will be a snake draft
